Balloon Basics 20 – Changing the Colour of Bubble Balloons

In Balloon Basics 20 on Balloon Market TV, Greg asked Doctor Bob how to change the colour of Bubble Balloons with latex balloons.

Doctor Bob went on to demonstrate how to change the colour of an air-filled 12” balloon and also a 20” Deco Bubble balloon.

So, let’s begin with changing the colour of an air-filled 12” Bubble in 5 easy steps!

1) Using an 11” latex balloon in the colour of your choice, roll the latex balloon up very small and insert it into the neck of the 12” Bubble balloon.

2) Push the latex into the Bubble until you have a little bit of the latex sticking out the neck of the Bubble. (You may find it easier to use a pencil or a straw for this)

3) Make sure there is no air in the Bubble balloon by giving it a good squeeze!

4) Inflate the latex balloon until all the creases on the outer balloon (the Deco Bubble) have disappeared.

5) Finally, give it a little twist at the top of the neck and tie this off as you would a normal latex balloon.

The process of changing the colour of a larger 20″ Deco Bubble balloon is the same, however, a 16” latex balloon is required instead of the standard 11″ latex balloon.

Using this technique, the possibilities are endless. We’d love to see what you create! Send us a photo by email or leave a comment down below.
