Greg has a few random facts for you today, the being that on the 6th April 1896, the first modern Olympics was held. Modern Olympics I hear you say? Well the original Olympics were stopped by a Roman emperor for 1500 years! The second fact is that on the 6th of April 1968, the seminal sci-fi classic 2001: a space odyssey was released!

Easter

Easter is on its way, new this year, we have this Easter Orbz balloon from Asmcan and this triple pack of Easter confetti! You have easter bunny and easter eggs, and you have chicks and circles and flowers and magenta cubes.

Just a quick note on Easter, we are closed from the 14th to the 17th of April for the Easter holidays, where we will be eating a lot of chocolate! Make sure that if you need supplies for the holidays then order on the Wednesday for delivery Thursday.

Amscan’s bestselling

These aren’t new balloons but they are new to us. We got them in because we saw a list of Amscan’s 100 best-selling balloons. So, we thought it gave an inside into the wider marketplace. We have these four Christian themed balloons, the first two more blank so could be used for a variety of events including communion and christening and the second two are themed around christening. We have these other bold and colourful. There is also this scalloped designed balloon with the metallic of the balloon showing through underneath and as we know metallic is very fashionable for 2017

Glitter candles and rose gold

Speaking of fashionable, Mike and Holly Forder from Creative Party were talking about how everything glittery is fashionable so we go these candles in. They are not only single numbers but also double number candles. These have two wicks but are stuck together so you don’t have two separate candles on a cake! We also have these new plain rose gold foils from Amscan in with us, in hearts, rounds and starts.

Balloon confetti

This is the most exciting thing that we want to talk about today, Balloon Confetti! We should have had these in a long time ago as they are so incredibly on trend. We have been looking at different suppliers and testing various products, trying to get the best deal for you. And we finally have them in! We have a staggering 65 products in our range of balloon confetti, the range covers 25mm coloured circle dots in a veriety of colours and shapes but we also have larger shapes like butterflies and stars.
