This week is a very special episode of BMTV, as it’s our 1-year anniversary! That’s right, this time last year we filmed our first ever BMTV episode, and have been doing one a week ever since. Last year Greg started by talking about Valentine’s Day balloons, and 52 episodes later we’re doing it again! If you go back and watch the very first episode, you will notice that a lot has changed since day 1, most noticeably Greg’s performing style which has become a lot more… shall we say animated! But anyway, we’d like to thank all of you that have supported BMTV this past year, and we hope it has been useful and perhaps even entertaining! So here’s to another fun-filled year of BMTV.

To kick this week off we have a 9” foil heart balloon from NorthStar. You may remember it from last year, as this is the very one that we used in that video! We had to top it up a bit but other than that, it has sat merrily on James’ desk ever since! These have self-sealing valves and make a great point of sale, and we have made a package of 100 balloons bundled with red 1-piece sticks so you can just inflate and go! We also have some packages for the larger 18” hearts if you want to make a saving for Valentine’s Day. Simply head over to our website to take a look.

New NorthStar Designs

New Northstar balloons this year include this “Happy Hands” balloon, this “I Otterly Adore You” balloon in the shape of an otter (my favourite) and this “I Love You a Latte” balloon. They do love their puns at NorthStar, but they also love making matching air-fill counterparts to their larger balloons, which are also great for creating a party theme or a point of sale. In fact, if you have a coffee shop near you, you should inflate some of the air-fill “I Love You A Latte” balloons and take them into the café to sell. Why wouldn’t they buy them off you; they could sell them to their customers on Valentine’s Day!

Emoji News

Now, a lot of you were excited about the Emoji balloon that we showed you a while back. Many of you have even asked where you can find more designs but unfortunately we’ve had to say that there aren’t any others available… until now! NorthStar (those guys again!) have started making the Emoji balloons themselves and have a few different ranges that they are bringing out. We don’t have them in stock at the moment as they are still to be manufactured, but rest assured that we will be ordering them as soon as they’re available. I’ve been told they even have the poo with the eyes, although I have yet to see this myself! Fingers crossed!

A Range of New Products

Other balloons of note this year include this ‘I ? U Donut’ balloon from Qualatex, which is close to Greg’s heart at the moment as he is trying to lose those pounds from Christmas. There is a ‘modern L?VE’ balloon with gold writing from Qualatex and this multi-coloured balloon from Amscan that would be perfect for the LGBT community. We have more traditional designs from Qualatex including this Classic Mickey bubble balloon and these clear, patterned 11” latex balloons which could be double-stuffed with any colour you want!
