The starting design is a blue foil number 4 attached to a simple four balloon cluster base made from 11” standard blue latex and then on top is another four-balloon cluster made with 12-inch Spider-man red latex balloons.

The first technique he talks about is attaching vinyl to balloons such as a spider design here which was cut on a Silhouette Cameo digital cutting machine with black vinyl. He uses clear vinyl application tape to move the spider design from the sheet of vinyl onto the blue foil number 4. To apply the design, you need to also use a 4-inch plastic squeegee to smooth the design across the surface of the balloon.

Another way he says you can add value is adding some extra small balloons to the design so here he adds small white balloons which are tied in doubles around the bottom of the foil number which then adds an extra element to the design.

He shows us how you can also use a marker pen or sharpie pen to highlight the finer details of a balloon print like on the Spider-man red latex balloons. He then adds this balloon to the centre of the foil number which adds a special touch to the overall design.

Finally, he shows a great technique using white 160Q’s to create a spider web design which he says would be low cost to create but would add a lot of value to the final design. He uses twelve 160Q’s – six for each spider web creation, which he attaches to the blue number four foil using balloon bond.

With the final creation finished he talks about how much value he has added to the design. The starting design he discusses he would sell at £20 and then with the simple low-cost techniques he has demonstrated he would now sell the design for £50 – which is over double, so a great profit to make.
