This week we have special show as we went on the road to sunny Wales! We were visiting a man called Stuart Davies who has become Qualatex’s newest instructor. Stuart has the ethos that people in the balloon industry can come together to work on big builds and not only train themselves but find gaps in the market.

So, he has assembled a team of balloon artists and decorators from around the country to help him build a balloon winter wonderland for his local community council. He managed to get a team of around 20 people, who all paid to be there! We were keen to ask why they had come and the value they saw in the event.

For most people, the balloon training was a key reason to their attendance. Many had not worked on a job of this size before (Stuart ended up using 30,000 balloons!) and just wanted to see how it was done. A lot of people also felt that they could now expanded the technique of bigger builds into their business following the event. But the main reason people came was the chance to work with other people, to build a network that they could use in the future and to get tips from others that could improve their balloon business!
