We would like to say a big thank you to Mark Drury for coming into Balloon Market to show us how to make candy striping with balloons on last week’s BMTV. We would also like to thank several people for sending in their pictures of creations they made based on Mike from Reds’ number decorations he made in BMTV 114. It’s really nice to see people getting inspiration from BMTV and nice to see what they come up with!

Greg has seen a few people this week show their concern about companies like Card Factory and major supermarkets undercutting them massively. He wants to reassure them that they aren’t stealing any of your customers and you should focus on the service you can provide that they can’t! For instance, Card Factory will only hand out a single balloon on a ribbon whereas you can create personalised decorations that are unique, only you can make these so promote the quality of your service and don’t try to compete on price!

New products this week include OMG engagement party plates and napkins, 6-inch tulle for decorating a wedding and gender reveal scratch cards! We have a new section on our website that is designed to give you ideas on what products can complement themes such as flamingo or rose-gold. It’s called the collection section! We also have new flamingo party ware in stock with us and 3ft clear latex balloons which have been somewhat scarce of recent times.
