We hope you enjoyed last week’s video where Chris Horne from Amscan came in for an interview and told us just how he got into the industry. We also uploaded a Balloon Basics video of Chris Horne tying a foil balloon in 3 seconds which can save you money! Watch out for future videos from Chris Horne in the future.

We also released our first ever Balloon Market Podcast last week on ITunes and on our blog. We started off with the interview with Chris but in the future, we are planning to have unique content with business specialists and experts to help you grow your business!

We have a couple of dates for your calendar, first off it’s national allotment week on the 14th to the 20th of August and what a great time to sell these Produce Pals balloons. We love these as they are cute and friendly but also are all in the unique shapes of the fruit and veg they represent.

It’s getting the time of year when A-level and GCSE results are announced so we have a new section on our website dedicated to celebrating results day! A-level results are released on the 17th of August and GCSE results on the 8th of August.

New to us this week are these exciting sprinkles party cups, napkins and plates and also we have these Qualatex latex balloons decorated with 2017 to trend themes! These come with Unicorns, Flamingos and Pineapples. We should be getting matching foil balloons into stock with us very soon.

Lastly, we are very happy to announce a ticket giveaway! You remember Mike Hurst from Reds that has come in a few times to show us a few designs, including Mike’s best-selling balloon decorations video that is our 8th most watched video! Well Mike is running a hands on training course in Brackley to teach how to make giant Quicklink numbers. It’s £75 but we have one ticket to giveaway for the event on 18th of August. All you need to do is send an email to info@balloonmarket.co.uk with the subject line “Quicklinks Competition” and include your name, business name and telephone number and you’ll entered into the draw. We will run the draw at 4pm on 4th August 2017 so you’ve got to be quick to win this prize!
