Mike Hurst from Reds joins us once again on BMTV today to talk about his new online training course on how to make giant number balloons from Quicklink balloons. These come in 6ft and 10ft versions for indoor and outdoor use and are an absolute show-stopper! Mike started his journey creating these numbers when he visited the World Balloon Convention in 2016. He was talking to some Americans about creating their “Yard Numbers”, the usual way to make these would be to bend steel frame into the shape of a number and then wrap it in 5-inch balloons. Mike wanted to create these numbers but didn’t want to stock the metal for the frames, being a big fan of the Quicklinks (and a keen inventor) he decided to come up with a method for making the numbers with Quicklinks. 2 years and a lot of Quicklinks later, here is his method!
