Now the first thing to talk about this week, it has to be Balloonin’ Marvellous! This is Amscan’s 2-day training event that took place in Milton Keynes on the 29th and 30th of October, we attended the event to film it and we will be releasing the show over the next couple of week’s so keep an eye out for that! Following on from Balloonin’ Marvellous, we have some sad news to say that Chris Horne injured his hand at Balloonin’ Marvellous. He had to go to hospital for emergency surgery on the day we had planned to do some organic training with Chris and as a result, he unfortunately can’t make the training. This means we are having to re-schedule the event to the 24th of January, if you have booked onto the organic balloon training course and can’t make the new date then you will receive a refund for the cost of the course. Now, we need to talk about Black Friday as it’s fast approaching! For the past several years since Black Friday has been prevalent in the UK, the courier companies have been getting busier and busier around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We are unfortunately unable to offer the level of service that we would like during this period, normally we offer a next day courier service but we are having to say that this service is no longer guaranteed for next day delivery during the Black Friday period. We would advise placing your orders with us as early as possible to make sure you get your balloons and party products on time. We are also offering an out-of-hours collection service for anyone who is able to visit us in person, let us know that you plan to come down and we will stay open after-hours for you to collect you parcel. On a plus note, we do now have Black Friday balloons in from Qualatex if you or your customers are having a Black Friday sale!

That leads us nicely onto some new products! We are very excited about Qualatex’s new sophisticated party range of Dinsey licensed products! You’ve got Star Wars, Disney Princesses and Mickey and Minnie Mouse all in a fresh, modern style. We also like the banner garlands that you can customise into the order you want them. Also new into us is some more sophisticated party products from a company we are working with called Neviti, we have been in talks with them for a while and are planning to get more and more of their products in in the coming months! Something else that we impressed with was the Sempertex Neon range, these are so bright, I mean unbelievably bright considering they are not under black light. We had a chat with Oswald Loewy, the CEO of Sempertex and he assured us that they could not get any brighter unless they were under black light. We just might have to crack our Black Light out and have a look!
