Thanks Sue!

First of all, we would like to say a big thank you to Sue Bowler who came in last week for an interview and a chat. If you’ve not seen that show then click here, sit down and grab a cuppa’ as it’s a 40 minute show! Sue gave a lot of great advice for people starting out in the industry and the lessons she learnt along the way so it’s worth a watch! Sue may even join us in the future to show us how to create something, keep an eye out!

Strange things on Black Friday

The day of filming the show is Black Friday and Greg was amazed at all the shopping centres and supermarkets that opened early for the Black Friday rush only to find that their stores remained empty! This is because most people have moved to shopping online! This leads us to the question of the week this week: Did you get a bargain on black Friday?

It’s the 1st of December so we can talk about Christmas!

Moving onto Christmas, we’re closed between Christmas and new year, from 12 o’clock on the 23rd and we open at 9 o’clock on the 2nd of January. Our last day of dispatch is the 22nd of December. We have a big banner on our website so look at that for your Christmas stock. We have Sitting Santa this year to accompany our Sitting Elf balloon.

Don’t forget New Year though, it’s easy to just focus on Christmas and New Year falls to the way-side a little bit. We have a brand new Anglez balloon from Amscan that is a new shape they are adding to the Cubez, Dimondz and Orbz. We will definitely inflate one in a future show. We also have this black happy new year champagne bottle, very nice! Greg wanted to talk about the other things for the countdown to New Year, we have theses metallic streamers for people to throw around or how about these party horns or confetti shooters, guaranteed to make a mess! Speaking of sophisticated black and gold balloons, we also have this new range of Sparkling age range balloons from Amscan, they come in black or pink and have a metallic, holographic shine to them.
