Welcome to BMTV 108! We’ve just come back from the Spring Fair and we’re so excited about all the new products that 2017 is going to bring that this week’s show is going to be dedicated to all these products that everybody is going crazy about! But first we wanted to say thank you to all the manufacturers that we talked to and the BMTV fans that stopped to talked to us! It’s really great to meet the people that watch the show as it really puts what we do in context!

Right so onto new products. By far one of the products that people are most excited about is the hello script balloon and the 16 inch letters and numbers by Northstar in this year’s colour; Rose Gold! We don’t have them in stock at the moment as they haven’t been manufactured yet! This means we don’t know when they are going to come into us but we’re hoping around march time. We promise you that when they come into stock with us, we will let you know in some fashion! Speaking of the script words, alongside the new rose gold finish is a holographic finish, pink / green clear plastic finish and even some new words. We mentioned Hello all ready but there’s going to be “fun” “baby” and “party” to add to the mix.

Amscan are also entering the Rose Gold market with 34 inch numbers and Orbz balloons. Again these aren’t available yet but we are expecting them in before the Northstar products so let us know if you’d like to get those in as we’re undecided at the moment! Chris Horne from Amscan predicted that tails for balloons are going to be the trend for this year and Amscan are bringing out a few ranges for this market. Most aren’t available expect these glitter strings which are a really inexpensive product for adding to balloons.

One product from Qualatex that seems to on everyone’s mind is the baby feet bubble balloon. We have a confirmed date for this balloon as shipping in mid-April but we are hoping it’ll be in a little bit earlier. Again we’ll definitely let you know when these come in as we are very excited about this product!

Greg is going crazy for the Starburst balloons from Unique party, these are 12 air-fill balloons in a kit that you inflate and assemble into this striking spike decoration. If you remember that Mark from Qualatex came in ages ago to make a 7 foot one of these and you can make a smaller one for the Qualatex tapers but they don’t have valves. The Unique starburst do so they don’t need heat sealing making them a much more accessible product!
