BMTV 30 – Northern Ireland is Awesome and a Beachball Balloon

Greg’s back from his holidays in Northern Ireland (his ancestral homeland) and has had a thoroughly good time! Greg would like to put his tour guide hat on for a moment, and personally recommend a few places he visited: The Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope-bridge, an interactive museum called W5, the open-air Folk museum and the Jet centre in Coleraine to name but a few. The Jet Centre has a cinema, mini golf, bowling, an arcade, a kids play centre and a new restaurant (under construction), so if you are ever in the area then be sure to check it out!

Exams and graduation

It’s the time of year for exam results and graduations; it was A-level results last week and GCSEs this week, and many people will be graduating over the coming months. We are receiving more and more demand for congratulatory and ‘Well Done’ balloons, so we have created an Exams and Graduation category on our website with some designs in there to cover every eventuality come results day. Rachel has also written a blog on balloon ideas for congratulating someone without explicitly saying “congratulations”! Click here to check it out.

PayPal

Blimey, you’ve all gone crazy for PayPal! We only introduced it a few weeks ago and it’s obvious that it’s been a hit! Obvious benefits for everyone using it are the added security and the saved payment details, which mean that you won’t have to keep typing them in every time you go through checkout. We should mention that PayPal will sometimes change the delivery address of your parcel to your default address in PayPal so please be aware of this.

New products

Amscan have recently re-introduced a few previously discontinued items that people have been crying out for. These include a see-through beer mug and a Breast Cancer ribbon, great for fund raisers. We have new Supershapes from them as well: A Chinese dragon which would be great for Chinese New Year and a Large Moustache that is perfect if you’re growing a ‘tache for Movember! If you’re unfamiliar with Movember, it’s where people grow a moustache in November to raise money for charity. For the wedding decorators among you, we have a MR and MRS SuperShape and matching Bride & Groom SuperShapes.
