Welcome to episode 72 of BMTV.

Cake!

First off thanks to David Schollenberger for bringing in cake for us to eat! Greg now blames you for his weight gain but it was very nice, thank you. We also had Crazy M and Benny Balloon come in to pick up their orders and chat to us so it has been like a proper entertainer’s convention. If you do live near Southampton, then why not ‘click and collect’ your order as we’d love to meet you.

Balloon Shining

It has now been 5 weeks since we filmed the Super Stuffer episode with Mark and you can see that the pagoda box decoration he made is still inflated! It is looking a little bit cloudy but you could apply some balloon shine to the outer surface to keep it shiny. Speaking of balloon shine; Greg was skeptical when Mark said you could use it on already oxidised balloons, so this week we thought we could try it. We have a Qualatex latex balloon that has been inflated for months and has gone a bit cloudy. Greg is going to apply the balloon shine to one half of the balloon and we will come back to it at the end of the show to see how it’s getting on.

Balloons on a Bicycle

Greg was fortunate enough this week to meet a man called Dean Butler. You may not know the name but he is the man behind vision express. Greg sees him as a real inspiration as he revolutionised the way glasses are made in this country, also Dean’s eyes lit up when Greg mentioned that he was in the balloon industry. Dean was over in India recently and he has a picture of a man delivering a huge bunch of balloons on his bicycle!

Not getting our emails?

If you’ve not been getting our weekly emails recently, we were having a problem where a large number of email addresses were marked as “bounced”. This means that the piece of software we use wouldn’t email to those addresses as it thought they don’t exist. We have now fixed that problem but a sure-fire way of making sure you’re alerted to new videos is to subscribe to us on YouTube. You can then choose to get notifications via email.

New Emoji party ware

A few weeks ago Greg was getting excited about a new range of party-ware with large 16oz cups, well they’re here! They are a full range of Emoji themed party supplies including plates, napkins, several different cups, table covers and banners! Lots to choose from. They are great for putting in-front of your face for taking pictures like what Louanne did in her recent “2 year ballooniversary” blog.

Free Bubble Balloon

If you don’t use bubble balloons but would like to test them out, then put in the comments box on your next order “please add a free bubble balloon” or something to that effect. We have a load of out-dated bubble balloons that we aren’t going to sell but didn’t want to throw out like this Hannah Montana balloon, heard of her? No? That’s because the licensed is about 10 years old! So we thought they would make great test bubbles for anyone that wants one!

Now back onto the oxidised balloon. You can see that they it is definitely shiny-er on the side with the balloon shine, it probably needs to dry a bit longer or needs another coat but if you did the whole balloon; it would look good as new!
