Hello and welcome to BMTV episode 31! First thing this week; the Star Wars Embargo lifts next Friday 4^th September, we will know the new designs and will get the new balloons in shortly after that. We have already placed our order for them (we were actually the first in the UK!) so as soon as they arrive with us, then we will let you know via Facebook, Twitter and of course BMTV.

Greg was in London over the weekend and spotted some balloons outside the Lewisham Southwark College. Greg being Greg, he took a picture! If this was your work then get in touch, it would be great to find the person that did this work through BMTV.

Greg was hoping to check out a balloon art installation that a French artist has been working on at Covent Garden. His name is Charles Pétillon and he works a lot with white balloons; putting them in different buildings situations and scenarios, head over to his website to take a look. He is planning a large sculpture of over 100,000 balloons at Covent Garden and members of Bapia have been there all week setting it up. It wasn’t ready when Greg went but if any of you have a chance to see then take some pictures! We’ll show them on a future BMTV.

Just a quick reminder, it is a bank holiday on Monday (yay!) which means we’re closed. If you are taking time off as well then we hope you enjoy it! If you need anything for Monday then make sure you order before Friday as anything ordered on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday. If you order anything on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, then it will be dispatched on Tuesday for earliest delivery on Wednesday.

Halloween is slowly creeping up on us, and we have new products in ready. These include a scary crow, a trick or treat 18” foil, a Pumpkin foil & bubble balloon and a large black bat shape. If you’re looking for alternative ideas for Halloween, then Snazaroo face paint is perfect. We have specific kits; such as the Halloween Palette Face Pain Kit for the main Halloween colours & themes and we have a Special FX Kit if you want to take it up a notch this year and try your hand at creating nasty scars and gashes. The Special FX Kit includes modelling wax, fake-blood, red paint and a sponge & spatula to apply it with. We also have smaller face paint packs such as the Ghost and Skull pack, Halloween face paint sticks and a Halloween kit with a booklet that gives quick steps for a few simple designs. These would all be great for kids to apply to themselves or to their friends which adds to the fun, we also have Halloween stencils for creating great designs easily!
