Greg has had some caffeine this week and is excited that the kids are back to school! September is also a great month for business as everyone comes back from holiday and things get busy busy busy! Even though it is getting cold, summer isn’t entirely over just yet and summer fairs are still in full swing if you wanted to take advantage of the opportunities to be had and sell some balloons!

Just a reminded that the Rugby World Cup starts on the 18^th of September so get your balloons in soon ready for pub parties and the like. We have the official Gilbert ball balloon and the official England Shirt balloon.

Arrr on the 19^th September it be national “Talk like a Pirate” day! We have a great range of balloons and party ware if you’re think of throwing an event or stocking up your shop. We have generic pirate party ware, the standard cups, napkins, plates etc and a 48 piece favour pack with loot bags, play money, activity sheets, eye patches, whistles and prism viewers. We also have themed Jake and the Neverland Pirate party ware and balloons, Jake is a Disney theme that is still going strong and we have the balloons, usual party ware and a few items that aren’t included in other license party designs such as the Jake banner and Jake gift-wrap.

We think the highlight of the pirate range is the air-fill foil balloons from Northstar these are small balloons that have a valve in them so are great for customers to inflate them selves and for adding to goodie bags. We used to sell these unpackaged but switched to the packaged versions due to high demand. The packaged versions are great as they include an inflation straw that turns into a balloon stick! Perfect for off-the-shelf points of sale as they include everything you need in one handy package! We have the Skull and cross bones, the pirate ship and my personal favourite; the pirate fish! All these balloons have the same desgins in larger shapes if you want to mix and match!

The Star Wars embargo that Greg mentioned last week is lifting at the end of the this week so tune in to next week’s show for the designs from the new The Force Awakens film! We have to say that Greg jumped the gun a bit regarding when we will actually get the designs in to sell as Amscan say it will be early October. Rest assured we will let you know when they are in!
