BMTV 35 – Greg and others mess it all up – Bloopers!

Whilst Greg is away in Fort William climbing Ben Nevis and doing other crazy outdoorsy stuff, we thought we’d treat you to some behind-the-scenes bloopers and out-takes this week but shhhh, don’t tell him!

We regularly do multiple takes for BMTV, and often the mistakes and fluffed lines are caught on camera. There are also a few technical difficulties (and my own mistakes!) thrown in there for good measure. I hope they give an insight into how much we enjoy making the videos for you each week!

In case you’re wondering, Greg claps at the start of each take so we can use the sound of the clap to sync our two cameras together in editing. So, if you see him clap he’s not just being super-excited, it’s just an alternative to using the clapper-boards you see in films.

You may also hear Greg say the word ‘Vaynerchuk’. This is in reference to Gary Vaynerchuk, an online video presenter and wine connoisseur who’s known for his ‘over-the-top’ performances in his online videos. Greg likes to channel the spirit of Vaynerchuk to inspire him to be larger-than-life for the camera; this led to us using the term “Vaynerchuking” during filming when we needed to add that extra oomph! If you’re still not sure what we mean, then head on over to Gary’s website to take a look! https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com

Greg will be back next week for another regular episode of BMTV.
